We currently have a vacancy for a lawyer and assistant lawyer to join our small team to deal with alcohol & entertainment licensing for venues such as pubs, clubs, theatres, cinemas, restaurants and festivals, health & safety work, caravans/mobile homes (including sales/purchases of mobile homes) and some dispute resolution. We will consider applications for both full and part-time work.
The hours and salary are negotiable and a bonus arrangement may apply depending on performance.
The right to work in the UK and a UK law degree is essential. Please note that we will not acknowledge applications where a candidate does not meet these requirements. It is not necessary to have experience of the areas of law in which we specialise, but it is important to be enthusiastic and willing to learn. We are customer-focussed and so a ‘can do’ attitude is important. The ability to use IT is essential, particularly Microsoft Office and preferably Apple Mac computers.
For graduates interested in an assistant lawyer post, we are registered as a training provider and it may be possible to offer a training contract, depending on performance and ability after 6 months.
